Salaam Alaikum, Kia Ora e te Whanau, Talofa Lava and Bula Vinaka,
Welcome to Mums That Homeschool!
I'm Kayla, a passionate advocate for Homeschooling and Founder of Mums That Homeschool, the first 100% Muslim - Independently Funded + Owned Women’s Homeschool Initiative established in 2023.
We are inclusive of ALL Mothers and children from all walks of life.
As a Revert Muslim, Second-Generation Homeschooler, and proud Pacific Islander, I'm dedicated to empowering Mothers to take charge of their children's education.
With a unique blend of personal experience having been Homeschooled, as well as attending private and public school (then later university) – I wholeheartedly believe that homeschooling offers unparalleled benefits. My journey has inspired me to create a supportive community where ALL Mothers can thrive as their child's first and best teacher.
Through Mums That Homeschool we offer:
- Consultancy services to guide your Homeschooling journey
- A cooperative network for shared learning and growth
- Free downloadable resources to enhance your teaching

- Sunnah Activities including Field trips, Swimming, Archery, and Horse Riding, fostering a love for exploration and adventure
-The first upcoming Mums That Homeschool Conference that caters specifically to Mothers, inclusive of all faiths, backgrounds and cultures

My long-term vision is to establish a timeless Homeschool Centre, exclusively for women and children, built upon Islamic values. This serene sanctuary will not only be able to be run by the Mothers and Children of the community themselves, but also feature an:

-Kitchen for Cooking Skills
-Dedicated Learning Rooms and Organic Spaces for connection, innovation, creativity and development
Join me on this transformative journey, as we uplift and empower mothers to become the primary educators of their children.
Together, let's build a nurturing community that honors the sacred Islamic values of Motherhood, and fosters a lifelong love of learning inclusive of all faiths, cultures and backgrounds.
